Dream #1

Chinese people are really superstitious when it comes to dreaming of people who have passed away.
It's believed that dreams are one of the ways they communicate with us.
Questions like "Was the dream black&white or with colors?"
(Usually black and white since the person has passed away - symbolic of the past?)
"Did he/she speak?"
(Usually they don't, they remain silent in dreams, but they communicate with you through "doing" things, or in a broader context, through the story of your dream)
"Did he/she smile?"
(Again, usually they don't, they are expression-less)

Dream #1
My dream was a little different, I didn't see him in person. I received a call from him.
It was during daytime when I was attending a lecture when I got his call.
I see his picture on my phone (but in reality, I didn't put a pic in his contact info)
I hesistated.
Walked out of the lecture room.
And picked it up.

"Hello...?"
"Hey!"
I smiled.

I missed his voice. I really do.
I missed asking him if he wanted me to pick up some late-nite snack when I was on my way home.
I missed the time when he poured me a delicious cup of water when I couldn't get up. It was delicious. Warm and hot water, half-half. Man, it was the most soothing cup of water I've ever had. You might think I'm weird..but whenever I pour myself water, half warm and half hot, I think of my cousin.
And wish he was still here.

Then it was the usual how are you doing's.
He said "I missed you guys.."
"I know, and so do we..."
"I've been travelling around, and also running alot!"
:3 I like the randomness

Then shortly after we said our goodbyes and hung up.

I wanted to call back. To see if I can hear his voice again.
